Off-cycle runs in one call
Bonuses, corrections and final paychecks now run through the same endpoint as regular payroll.
POST /v1/payrolls now accepts type: off_cycle with a reason of bonus, correction or termination. Off-cycle runs have their own pay date, skip recurring deductions unless you ask for them, and can be funded by same-day ACH when they are submitted before 2 p.m. ET.
For bonuses, you choose the supplemental withholding method per run: the flat federal rate or the aggregate method. The paystub says which one was used, so an employee who asks why their bonus was taxed differently finds the answer on the stub itself.
For terminations, the response includes final_pay_due_by, worked out from the employee’s work state and whether they resigned or were let go. Your app can show the deadline to the employer before they press Run.
